Ramona Singer Catches Husband Mario Singer With Sexy Young Kasey Dexter: Police Called to Domestic Dispute

Ramona Singer is well known by fans of The Real Housewives of New York for herlove of booze – wine to be exact. It’s the thing that comforts her more than anything else and perhaps that explains why she offered it to the police officers that visited her Southampton home on Friday night. Apparently Ramona has been going through a messy split with her husband, Mario Singer and the two have attempted to divide up their residences.

According to Page Six Ramona was living in their Upper east side apartment and Mario was given custody of their Southampton home for the time being. I’m not sure why, but last Friday night Ramona went to that home and when she found Mario there with his young socialite girlfriend, Kasey Dexter, she flipped out. This is where it becomes a case of he said/ she said. There are allegations that Mario choked Ramona and that’s why the cops were called but she seems to be denying that story.

Wall Street (1987) was about greed, and how good it could feel -- for a while. The Wolf of Wall Street is about unsettling excess. It never feels really good but, in what is the underlying theme of Scorsese's latest, 30 years on, excess never has to end.

James Thurber wrote the short story on which this film is based back in 1939, it has been filmed once in 1947 and has made it to screen again after several failed attempts. You wonder why. If the long-enduring appeal of an ordinary guy who daydreams about fantastical events happening to him doesn't surprise you, what must is that neither film has anything in common with the book or with each other.
